I am really greatful that i have found this page!
I have been interested in finnish education for several years and recently i found a finnish school which sells licences
all over the world but it is so expensive, i could not possibly open one of those school plus, what i need is information
and training to open a small school.

In reply to Sonja Nel. Thank you so much for your thoughts and feedback. You are right. Learning is so much more, what kids can learn from books. The whole school day with all its activities should support holistic approach in education. PS. I visited schools in Namibia 20 years ago as part of my Bachelor's studies and absolutely loved it!

Love this. Agree children can only learn properly if they ate nutrious food. In some countries like Namibia the Government does have feeding schemes for poor students. But this is also important for countries where there are no feeding schemes but tuckshops that sell unhealthy, sugary foods and beverages to students. Schools must be holistic in their whole approach towards students.

Thank you for your message and interest towards ALO Finland courses.

The courses mentioned in the article are 35€ for Play, creativity, fun and active learning, and 25€ for the phenomenal learning course.

The duration of the courses is fairly short, and can be done within hours, since I know how busy timetables all educators have. However, I’ve had learners on courses, who have spent a lot of time and effort collaborating and sharing their expertise on the discussion forum. That’s what makes learning more global and interesting.

Finnish education offers strong evidence that it is good to start formal education later than sooner. Pasi Sahlberg has researched and compared Finnish educational system to many other systems globally. Perhaps you can start from his work and research.
